Established in 1976 by original founder Lois Benson as the Benson Agency, ABA Talent has been able to reinvent itself with each passing decade to maintain its position as one of the upper level boutique agencies in the entertainment industry. The present day ABA Talent is no exception. During the Benson era, the agency made its mark by providing Hollywood with an array of quality actors for film, television, commercial and theater. The Benson era lasted for 18 years until Lois Benson decided to retire in 1994.
That same year under new ownership headed by Kimberley Gola, the agency was renamed ABA Talent Agency Inc. Along with the new name came a new direction for the agency which would refocus the agents’ attention on commercial young talent; namely kids and teens. This approach would proove to be a successful one as ABA Talent became recognized as a top tier Young Talent Agency for commercials and print campaigns. With its prospering new direction growing by the day, ABA decided to reopen the theatrical division in 1999 with the addition of talent agent Joseph Le. The film and television division would hit the ground running with a string of high profile feature film and prime time television projects to go along with their ever growing roster of young celebrity talent.
Long known for the success of its youth division in film/TV/commercial, ABA was able to generate the same success in its newly developed Adult Theatrical and Adult Commercial departments. The Adult Theatrical division ABA has been able to represent a roster of quality talent ages 18 to 30. The Adult Commercial Division has also kept pace with the emergence of talent agent Christopher Ledford.
In the spirit of growth and creativity, ABA is proud to introduce yet another division: Brand Management. To further service it’s clientele of TV and Film talent, Brand Management will focus on securing creative and career progressing brand name and endorsement deals that will focus on the strengths of our celebrity talent. The division will be run by our head Theatrical agent Joseph Le and our head Adult and Marketing agent Christopher Ledford.
